Can from High Point, Vancouver, tagged 12/23/19
Hazy, dark blond colour with medium head. I took a bet selecting this can, as it's nearly 1 year old, but it still delivers. Nice aroma of sweet citrus, white grapes, a hint of tropical fruit and pine. It's lightly sweet, still quite lean, with good malt base (better and more developed than most modern IIPAs), sweet crackers, followed by fruity hopping, just a gentle touch of piney resins, and perfectly balanced bitterness. Extra points for being this good after 10+ months.
Excellent.

Enjoyed on tap at Redmond Ridge Golf Club. Quite a nice find, and when I had the choice between macro A, macro B, macro C, semi macro D, or this awesome brew, I should have ordered 6 of them. I do still have a round I need to get through! Clean golden orange pour, soft fizzing head. Rich with ripe fruit, grassy hops, forest cool hoppy bitterness, long lingering biscuit malt finish. Easy drinking imperial, and I'm still certain that mosaic is the greatest hop of all time. Exhibit A. Flavorful, refreshing imperial. Yes!

Foamy white head stayed on an unclear amber coloured, slowly carbonating body. Pine, pithy, malt & stewed fruit aroma. Full bodied, thick, syrupy, sticky & cloying in the mouth. Bitter pine, malt, caramel, grapefruit, pithy & hoppy tastes with a long tangy finish. Deece!

Deep golden color. Chalky white head. Pretty dank overripe tropical fruit in the nose. Bright mango character, full malt backbone, massive bitterness but balanced well with the big maltiness. Alcohol is well hidden. It’s a big, balanced and hops are very pronounced but don’t feel there is anything too special or unique about this beer. Perfectly acceptable and well made.

Fresh can @ home. Deep golden colour with very tiny particles. Rocky off white head with good retention. Aroma's of tropical fruit (pineapple, passionfruit, mango), with additional sweetness and light resin retronasal. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Long resinous bitter finish, not too astringent. Solid DIPA.

Pour is a honey hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is some blueberry with white grapes. Flavor is more white grape with some various berries. No malt or alcohol is showing. Decent showcase of the mosaic hop. This is a non citrus leaning hop with more berry and white grapes.

Tap at Hair of the Dog Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a big lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, malt, fruity, warm alcohol, floral, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On Tap Hazy deep golden orange with a thin fine white skin of bubbles. Light fiant fruity hop notes and a somewhat sweet pale malt flavor. Some citrus pithiness in there but pretty mild over all. Nice balanced flavors.
