This beer’s a step into the mystical black IPA style. Roasted malt alongside pine, dank, and citrus notes from Simcoe, Chinook, Citra, and Columbus hops. Although she hides her secret well, our mum is actually a real-life witch. This beer’s for you ma, no spells today.
Black IPA be witchy.

From keg at the Villages Taproom in Deptford with Terje 13.03.22. Ebony. Dense pale brown head and lacing. Balanced aroma and taste of roasted malt, fresh coffee, dark chocolate, pineshoots and grapefruit. Surprisingly refreshing and quaffable.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear brown with a foamy, khaki head. Light to medium sweet flavour with moderate toasted pine, orange, nips of raisins, earthy coffee, background cocoa, very slight roast. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation and velvety texture. Nicely rounded finish, more citrusy hops, mellow roast, piney and rindy bitterness, a little boozy warmth. Really nice and drinkable CDA.
