Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is grassy hop with pale malt, some citrus, orange, notes of pine and caramel, hint of tropical fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet with a medium bitterness. Body is medium. Pleasant, bit like an old skool American Pale Ale.

330ml bottle [4.3% abv]. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Floral and slightly citrusy fruity, hoppy and grainy, pale malty aroma, slight muesli touch, a touch of lemon and lime peel, minimally yeasty spicy overtones. Taste is dry, floral and citrusy fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, pale malty, minimally yeasty spicy, hints of lemon, lime peel, moderate hop bitterness. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Light, very refreshing - good.

Fles 33cl thuis. Zoetig, yeasty, Belgisch gist, peer?, goed hoppig, fruitig, bitters, vrij zacht, geel fruitzoet, wat malttonen, licht kruidig, af en toe metaalsmaakje. Wat in onbalans. (12-6-2020).

Basically the (Dutch style) 'lentebok' or spring Bock from this brewery in Purmerend, but simply called 'lentebier' (spring beer). Thanks to Craftmember for sharing. Snow white, creamy and very mousy, stable head on a cloudy straw blonde beer with beige hue. Aroma of ripe peaches, apricot, melon, raw dough, apple sauce, green mandarin, pear juice, grapefruit pith, white pepper. Sweetish onset, lots of apricot, ripe pear and peach impressions, touch apple, softish in carbonation; slick body, cereally and white-bready maltiness with a soft doughiness to it, maintaining a light-bodied, sweet but elegant profile, the finish being adorned with light spicy phenols and an earthy, leafy hop bitter tail, quite long and rooty - very atypical for a Dutch spring Bock, which is possibly the very reason why they called this simply a 'spring beer' instead... Quite nice, in all.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Light hazy yellow with a white head. Nice citrus aroma with some fruity yeastiness. Some malts/grains as well. Bitter taste with a bitter finish. Nice fresh spring beer.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Malt, hop, subtle citrus and herbal. Taste: Subtle yeasty and quite hoppy. Citrus hop, over moderate sweet malt, wheat malt, slightly herbal. Pretty dense mouthfeel. Pretty long bittery, fruity and bit yeasty finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice refreshing beer.

Bottled 330ml (Smaakhuis)
Hazy golden colour (after adding the yeast), small white head. Malty, a bit grainy, fruity estery aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty, light alcohol and honey, citrus. Even with American hops, this one has Belgian vibe. OK.
