Medium, stable white head over clear darker golden beer with fine carbonation. Sweet citrus, almonds, amandine, peach, somewhat liqueurish, rosewater. Oxydation, oxydated malts (BBd + 2 months!), dark & dry malts and bread. Again almonds, rosewater. Light (?!) to medium bodied, good carbonation, quite slick. Ho-hum. Txs to Stef!

Can at home. Clear bright orange color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, green hops, malt bitters. Not bad but not great either. Okay.

Can @ home. Golden colour, white foam. Hoppy, citrussy, a bit herbal and floral. Interesting.

Pours a darker blonde. Unclear, malty, bit yellow fruity hops. Mild dankness. Taste is mildly bitter, bit grassy. Fairly sharp, due to the bitterness, but also quite creamy body. Not bad at all. Fresh feeling to it.

Can from Hopduvel. Clear orange, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of ripe mango, orange peel, old biscuit, pine, onion, vague rainwater, stale grapefruit juice, vague sweaty sock. Taste has sweetish old mango, peach & apple over a biscuity malt base with spicy & dank notes and a yeasty effect. Herbal hoppy finish, somewhat piney, old fruit & yeast notes returning. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Drinkable but needs some polishing.

11/V/22 - 33cl can from the brewery, shared @ Johan’s Goodbye BBQ at work, BB: ?/2023 (2022-494)
Clear orange blond beer, big creamy yellowish head, stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, sweet impression, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, grains, hoppy, very malty, a bit grassy, a little fruity. Aftertaste: a bit fruity, malty, some tropical fruits, hoppy, a bit resinous, ok. Not great. Was expecting more from the Simcoe hops…

New APA (or, as the brewery puts it, 'Transatlantic Pale Ale') by an inspiring new microbrewing project in the ‘Heirnis’ quarter of Ghent, can generously offered to me by Erwin P., cheers! Thick and foamy, egg-white, plaster-like lacing, irregularly edged head, clear orange-golden robe with lively sparkling, turning misty and deeper peachy-orange with sediment. Aroma of (old) dried orange peel, dry biscuit, stewed red onion, dust, bread crust, field flowers, old cotton rope, crackers, paprika powder, rose petals. Dryishly fruity onset, dried apricot and a dash of dried apple peel, fizzy carbonation with slender but sufficiently full mouthfeel; dry bread-crusty and old-cracker-like malts quickly superseded by a firm, citrus pith- and wormwood leaf-like hop bitterness with a grapefruity aroma; ends dry, bitter and a bit ‘dusty’ and powdery, weirdly so for a young pale ale. Decent enough, basically a hop-forward Belgian blonde (and more or less intended as such) in a clean, ‘Americanized’ way, but a bit more New World hop aroma would have made it more enduring.

Golden colour with thin head. Pale malts and rounded hop bitterness. Light citrus. Some off notes, perhaps a touch diacetyl too.
