tonka, nie przepadam za nia jako dodatek w piwach, daje ze duza slodycz, czesto zadnemu piwowarowi nie wychodzi jej stonowanie lub przelamanie, tu wyszlo inaczej, czyli sie udalo, aczkolwiek jest to jakis profil slodkawy, ale nie zaden ulepek, byc moze za dodanie slonego karmelu. slonosc nie jest wyczuwalna ale fajnie tonizuje slodycz tonki. Do tego dostajemy porzadnie zaparzona kawe z nowiutkiego ekspresu. piana srednia, nie za trwala, bezowa, piwo oleiste, metne i nie przejrzyste. Plus za stylowa artystyczna etykiete.

Draught@TCBW2022. Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is tonka beans, some caramel, mild fudge and salty tones with some slight alcohol tones to it as well. Flavour is chocolaty, some salted caramel, mild alcohol as well as some slight dried fruity and a bit spicy tones to it.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma assente, colore nero, al naso è intensa vino porto Vov caffè caramello vaniglia cioccolato Cherry, in bocca è vellutata Vov vaniglia prugna secca caramello cioccolato fondente caffè frutta secca liquirizia biscotti alla cannella, corpo strutturato, alcool ben presente riscalda ma non disturba, carbonazione piatta, oily, dolce compensato da un amaro accentuato. Da sorseggiare con mooolta calma. Põhjala sempre al top. Una birra per le feste. c. Cantina della birra 08.12.23

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some vanilla and spices.. Taste is also a mix of black chocolate notes with some vanilla and herbal/spices notes with a dry bitter finish. Body is about average with good carbonation with some alcohol notes discernible. Enjoyable imperial stout with strong tonka bean flavors.

No head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Tonka beans very present. Heavy bitter flavor. Strong tonka notes but stil harmonic. Long great heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Aromes de chocolat au lait, de caramel et de cerises. Un beau mélange sucré fruité avec des notes de vanille et de boisé, avec les fèves Tonka bien en évidence. Un filet de mousse pétillant et éphémère se dépose sur un liquide noir et opaque. La fève Tonka et le caramel salé sont effectivement en évidence en bouche et accaparent une bonne proportion de la palette gustative. Le chocolat noir est également assez important avec des notes de torréfaction en arrière bouche. Intensément sucrée cette stout. Les adjuvants dominent au détriment de la bière de base. Opaque dark brown beer, quite oily, a few dark tan bubbles never comes close to forming a head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Rich chocolate malts, good creamy dark chocolate. Even bigger Tonka pseudo vanilla chocolate oddness. Salted caramel is the lightest element of this one and only comes through on the back end. Chocolate Tonka linger. Rich but a bit too much Tonka for me. 7.3.

A revisit finds good ripe fruits, well integrated with smooth dark chocolate malts, that pseudo Tonka weirdness seems to have settled down. All those things come together well on a smooth and slightly viscous finish that also brings a little alcohol spice. Rather tasty and a better experience than the first time around.

Aroma of chocolate, caramel, toffee, coconut, marzipan. Taste of salty caramel, coconut, Bounty, chocolate. Little to high carbonated. Little alcoholic.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours black, with minimal brown foam. Aroma is intense, of chocolate, amaretto, cherries. Body is rather dense, with nice soft carbonation. Taste is rather sweet, but also roasty. Final is pretty long, intense, sweet.
