750ml wired cork bottle from Beerhive, Edinburgh. 6.2%. Opened with a pop. Pours an orangey gold colour, with white foam head that dissipates, and aroma of apple, fruit, caramel, funk. Taste is sweet, juicy apple, fruity, some leathery funk, meaty notes, and drying bitter sweet tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, medium-dry tangy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

750 ml bottle 7%. Hazy orange golden body with a fine, dense off-white head that fades slowly. Nice funky aroma with distinct ripe apple, cellar notes/barnyard and wood, not particular acidic. Taste is sweet, mature apple, apple core, wood, cellar notes and funky but not very acidic. Quite robust in a way, still balanced and complex. Fine body and quite long aftertaste. Not what I would call elegant, bit tasty and rich in flavor – like it a lot.

Cloudy orange color. Classic French cider, it has a strong astringent, tannic character from the apple skins, it’s moderately sweet, and probably too woody in the final; a lot of apple fuitiness.
Very good.

Bottle - Lots of funky apple and horse blanket. Clear gold with a frothy small white head. Nice sweetness and nice funk. Balance is perfect wit great funk and nice sweetness. Well done.

Hazy pinkish amber. Has pedio, meaty, sweet, light apple, and a mellow, tasty character. Very drinkable.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of barnyard funk, with no residual sweetness, and lovely dry apple skins. Flavour is complex, with lovely smokiness, smoked apple skins, some light cheese, and barnyard funk. Funky, cheesy and complex. Amazing how dynamic and deep this is for a 4.5% cider. Excellent.

Bottle @ SBWF 2014. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a dry spicy apple aroma. Fruity spicy slightly sweetish apple flavor. Has a fruity spicy dry apple finish.
