This modern soor beer is sure to catch your attention with its luminous green colour and distinct flavour. Reminiscent of lost youth, nightclubs and shots, shots, shots.

What once started a sesh is now light and sessionable. Sweet apple meets the zingy finish of our base beer for a soor sensation.

Can. Light haze on this green, small pale green head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Nose is very light apple sour candy. Light malts, there isn't a creamy sweetness here per se but there is a floral sweetness that underpins the slightly artificial and mildly tart apple. Light semi dry finish. I liked this beer a lot to start with but then it got a bit chewy because of the dryness and the artificial nature of the apple. Fun for a bit and as long as you don't look too closely, bit like a bad magic trick.

440ml can. A very bright murky unnatural radioactive waste green with a green-tinted white head. Aroma and taste is like sour apple sweets (Chewits?), decent level of sourness, not much else to it. Medium body, however there was an extremely thick sludge at the bottom of the can, too thick to even pour out the can, I suspect this would've made it more like a thick treacle syrup. Fun beer but didn't really do much for me I'm afraid.

Keg tap at the Micklegate Social, York. Lime green and hazy with a thin white head. Aroma dominated by apple sour candies. As is the the taste, although this dissipates quickly to a short finish which reveals a thin body. Heavy carbonation. Drinkable but a little below Vault City's usual standard in my opinion.

On keg @ The Wee Vault. Appearance - solid, fluorescent green with no head. Nose - ripe and juicy green apples. An edge of funk. Taste - juicy green apples with a slight tarty tang. Palate - light bodied, fairly persistent sour finish. Overall - nice!
