The Pacific Uncle is a West Coast IPA with a large amount of american hops, focusing on late additions and dry-hopping. We use a balanced combination of base and crystal malts to give it a complex and strong malt base. And during the boil we use nugget hops for bittering and Amarillo and Simcoe as aroma hops. Then it is dry-hopped with Citra and Amarillo for a citrusy and fruity aroma finish.

Can 330ml (Alko web)
Amber colour, small off-white head. Sweetish crystal malts and pine in the nose. Medium-bodied. Crystal malts, pine and resin in the sweetish malty flavour. Bitterness in the aftertaste. Some similarities to Mufloni CCCCC. Not bad.

(Can, 0.33 l - BB 29.04.2021, from the brewery, 20201219) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, lightly sweet and bitter. Decent hoppy brew with strong malty notes.

330ml can. Sweetish, caramely malty and grassy hoppy with some herbal notes, pine, resin and floral hops, slight bitterness. Quite malty and piney, but could've used a bit more citrusy notes and bitterness. Okay. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pacific Uncle West Coast IPA on 31 Oct 2020 at 17:51 - Score: 7.
