Draught@Bruuveri, Helsinki. Deep reddish ambery colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel, rye, some lavendel and mild fruity and dloral tones. Flavour is caramel, some pine, rye, fruity and some spruce shoots as well. Nice floral and wooden big bitterness in the finish.

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20210717) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, resin, sweet rye bread and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, grass, malts, rye and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, hops and bitterness. A tasty and balanced brew with decent hop bite. I remember the version in 2007 was more aggressive.

Tap at brewpub. Dark ruby colour and medium-sized beige head. Caramalt, rye and menthol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Caramalty, very hoppy ... pine and resin, some fruityness, rye. Nice old school hop bomb.
