Tap at BBT September 2021. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of dark malt, caramel, some roastiness. Taste, sweet dark malt, coffee, caramel, light smoke.

Tap @ SOPP Tku 2021. Smell of rye , roasted malt. Dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma of rye bread, roasted malt, some oak, some whisky notes, a faint of smoke. Lively carbon. Very bitter, medium sweet. Balanced. Excellent stuff.

(Keg at Pyynikin Taproom Helsinki, 20201217) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and liquorice. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, ash, vineousness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, ashy, boozy and bitter. Otherwise pleasant brew but the alcohol pushed through too strongly.
