Twice the Licorice root and nearly twice the alcohol with tons of specialty malts. A sweet milk stout with warming alcohol and lingering luxurious dark licorice flavors.

Masse lakris i hvert fall. Sikkert ikke bra for blodtrykket. Er den oksydert?

Bottle. It pours an unclear dark reddish brown body under a small beige head. The aroma was pleasant but surprisingly weak, with licorice, roasted malts, dark chocolate, dark dried fruits and some alcohol. It's full-bodied, smooth and with a pleasant carbonation. Licorice, roasted malts, dark chocolate, prunes and a touch of alcohol. A hoppy, bitter touch in the back. Lasting finish with a good mix of licorice and dark malts. Nice indeed. 190406

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.2%. Black colour, medium beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malts and liquorice, hints of mild coffee and lactose. Medium sweet flavour with distinct notes of liquorice and lactose (a bit too much of both), on a background of lightly roasted malts and mild coffee. Moderate hops. Not bad, but not perfectly balanced.
