Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and chocolate, with notes of yeast and touches of dried fruit. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with estery notes and touches of liquorice, malt and dried fruit. Roasty and estery aftertaste with malty touches. Decent.

Aroma of roasted malts, coffee quite strong aroma. Brown sugar. Not overly sweet. Balanced.
Flavor os roasted malts with a nearly perfect hoppy balance, dry roasted malty, wood, faint smoked malts. End is very roasted malty with coffee bitterness. Reminds me of limfjordaporter

440ml can. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Roasty, chocolately, slightly spicy, dark malty aroma, notes of dark cocoa, dark chocolate, some coffee, umami, hoppy counterpart with unspecific herbal-grassy-spicy aspects contributes to the umami partition. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty, slightly spicy and bitter hoppy, notes of dark cocoa, dark chocolate, a touch of coffee, umami, blueberry. Slightly creamy-oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium to fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Not the most flattering flavours: chocolate, coffee, cocoa are undoubtedly right in place concerning style and recognizable as such, but they are simply not really tasty here - meh!

330ml bottle bought from djoeye. Good looking in the glass with a solid tan head leaving crocheted lacing on the glassware, jet black body. Well roasted dark chocolate malts on the nose. Tasty with cocoa and grainy chocolate added by a backdrop of liquorice. Roasted bittersweet tail warming down the swallow. Well bodied. Pleasing evening sipper. (Tromsø, 04.04.2023).

On tap at Rööperin Hopstop. Black with a small head. A bit sweet with roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and some toffee. A nice one with a long finish.
