Antons Pilsner är ett hantverksöl bryggt i Kvarkens vackra, karga skärgård. Det är en lättdrucken, smakrik pilsner där malten ger en brödighet och lite sötma och där humlen bidrar med en örtig ton och lätt beska. Njut den kylskåpskall eller rumstempererad. August Anton Eklund föddes 1887. Han var fyrvaktare på Sälskär och tillika postroteman.

Brewed for Bryggeri Ab Bock - Wasa, Lemland, Åland (Amalias Limonad).

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy pale bronze colour, small head. Aroma of grainy tye bread and mild spicy hops. Mid sweet with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Very bready with some spicy hops and rather low bitterness.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a tiny, rough, white head. Aroma is a bit skunky, light struck. Medium body, very sweet malts and some very modest aroma hops. Again hardly any bitterness. Candy Pils. 090725

8/11/2024. Bottle shared by Robin, cheers. Pours hazy pale gold with a short lasting frothy white head. Aroma is light, grainy, citrusy, floral, husky fruit edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, grain and malts. Easy but pretty strong body.

33 cl bottle @ Nurmo, BBE 02.01.2021 Lots of foam when pouring. Aroma has buttery notes and cereal. Flavour has diacetyl, some herbs, minerals and bush leaves. Lingering unpleasant bitterness with more bush leaves. A bit old already?
