33cl bottle. Almost black beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of mid sweet dark malt, soft roasted malt, coffee and Lactose. Taste of liqourice, coffee, dark roasted malt, some Chocolate, nice!

Dunkler, süß-röstig-schokoladiger Beginn. Angenehme Würzigkeit, wenig herb, spritzig, Die dunkle Malzigkeit steiget deutlich an, minimale Herbe, Kaffee, Bitterschokolade. Vollmundig, konstante Intensität, langer, etwas bitterer, prim#är aber malzig schokoladiger Nachhall. Gut. 10/9/11/11//11/11

Bottle (thanks fatphil). Pours black. Aroma is sweet, roast, malt, boooze. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, malt, chocolate. Overall: ok.

Bottle [from trade with ShivanDragon I believe] @ home. Opaque black color, average sized brown head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, chocolate, sweetish. Taste malts, dark malts, chocolate, a bit sweetish initially, but a decent bitter finish. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Well, this is very impressive! A young brewery like this making a more than solid imperial stout? Don’t see this that often. Very well done, really impressed.

Bottle at our elite tasting. Assertively hopped which shows right from aroma well into the taste. Lots of bitterness and citrusy hops flavour, also lots of coffeeish olroasted maltiness, somewhat milk stouty. Full bodied. Quite good.

Bottle kindly shared by MisoW, many thanks. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Dark malt, roasted notes, cheese, vanilla in aroma. Dark malt, coffee, coffee sourness, yeast, nice portion of hops. Roasted malt, coffee, wood, light caramel. Good.

Flesje verkregen van de brouwer @Ulco, bedankt ! ok de eerste Leeuwarder, wat zelfs de eerste Friese RIS. schenkt zwart met schuimige bruine kraag. Aroma van chocolade, vanille, stevig, dik, licht geroosterde mout, maar gewoonweg goed. Smaken zijn matig zoet, matig bitter, plakkerig, redelijk alcoholisch, koffie-toets, vanille, dik en stevig, pittig karakter, redelijk tot volle body, romig van textuur, tevens glad en dik. ’tja ik ik niet anders zeggen dat dit wederom een lekker biertje is. Als ik toch een aandachtspuntje aan mag stippen, is om de basiscomplexiteit iets op te schroeven, oh en ja... die vlag ......dat ken natuurlijk niet, 058 weest wel.. dat binne maar 2 kleuren, ... ;) , 4.1 néé geintsje.. nu maar hopen dat ie ook zo mooi uit de ketels van Admiraals komt rollen... nou daar is hij inmiddels uit komen rollen en moet zeggen dat de commerciële versie een stukje dunner is en minder complex, rating daarom aangepast naar 3.8
