Maustaminen on semmoinen laji, jossa ei parane räplätä liikoja. Vienot piirteet ja hienovarainen vihjailu appelsiinista ja fenkolista eivät kyllästä nauttijaa vaan virittävät makuaistit riemukkaaseen lentoon.
Pakko tunnustaa, että himppu viitteelliseksi jäi aplarit ja fenkolit. Eipä ainakaan ylimaustunut. Mutta jos oot allerginen sitruksille niin älä jua! Katkerohommissa Magnum ja Amarillo tällä kertaa, koska se nyt vaan on niin.

From tap at Tommyknocker Craft Beer Bar, Helsinki. Roasty aroma with coffee, chocolate, some caramel and liquorice, bit spicy from the fennel. Some fruity notes. Body is medium. Nicely bitter and roasty.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Dark brown, mid sized head. Faint aroma of tobacco and dark bread. Mid dry with light to body and clean mouthfeel. Bread and notes of licorice. Resinous finish.

Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is fruity, some ashes, roasted malts and toasted fudge. Flavour is roasted malts, some chocolate, toasted fudge and mild dried fruity elements. Somewhat dry palate.

330ml bottle, #359, kindly shared by lmojoh. Rating session with lmojoh and Finn. Pours a deep ruby-black body under a fawn-coloured head, rings of lace down the glass. Roasted bread on the nose, mid-sweet. Malt-driven taste of cocoa, bite of brittle caramel, and anis. Roasted ending, rather sweet. Satisfying. (Tromsø 21.12.2022).
