Can from Legacy LRS, Vancouver
Dark brown colour. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla. Lean body, moderately sweet; dark chocolate flavour, cacao, spirit, a bit of green pepper; vanilla; I'm not sure where the 'fudge' thing is supposed to be.
Good, but nothing impressive.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, brown sugar, caramel, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and medium to heavy bitter with a long chocolate, caramel and vanilla finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

12oz @ Alex's. Appearance: brown with beige head. Aroma: a green pepper mess first that's partially displaced over time with a coffee notes. Taste: along the same lines, some chocolate notes can be recognized over the green peppers and some real coffee. Overall: this is a NOT nicely done coffee imperial stout. No vanilla, almost no cocoa and coffee (that got displaced with green peppers), mostly a green pepper mess.

Panda at home, post tasting thanks to Tipple and Dave for the muling, 09/02/23. Black with a tan head that dissipates edgewards. Nose is chocolate chips, coffee bean, spice, charr, roast malts, toffee. Taste comprises dark malts, coffee grinds, spice, roasted bite, charr, ashen nip, toffee, dried fruits. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of alcohol. Decent Speedway ... good roasted / bitter edge and never runs sweet.

Can shared in London - many thanks to Tips. Pours black-brown with a foamy, beige head. Moderately sweet, rich and layered dark malts, bitter dark chocolate, booze, sturdy roast, raisins. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation toon. Warming finish. Solid.
