Bottle. Pours clear pale straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with papery and malty notes. Sweetish flavour of yeast and malt, with bitter, hoppy notes and citric touches. Estery and papery aftertaste with bitter hints. Quite refreshing and not bad for the style.

ABV: 4.8%. ✅ Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light grain, light hoppy, herbs - grass, hay. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, biscuit malt, hay - grass, pale malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230416]

Starnberger Hell, Flasche aus einem Berliner Getränkemarkt. - Hellgelb, blank. - In der Nase blasses helles Malz mit deutlicher Malzsüße, etwas Weißbrot, zarte Säure, nur angedeutete Kräuter. - Antrunk mild süßsauerlich hellmalzig, dank fein abgeschmeckter Säure nicht zu blaß. Nur ein Hauch von herbaler Hopfung. Milder rezent, fein gerstiger Körper. Im Abgang blasse zitronige Hopfenherbe und ein ganz leichter Anflug von Chlor und Mottenkugeln, den man beim zügigen Trinken allerdings kaum bemerkt. - Einfaches, wäßriges Helles, rund aber ausdruckslos. 0,5 l bottle. Clear yellow golden with a small one finger head in the glass. Caramel with some hay on the nose. Taste has also some hay and caramel, little bit sweetness, some spicy elements. As expected an easy drinker. Okay.

Good, dense, lightly yellowish head, rededing over clear golden beer. Strong spicy malts' nose, toasted malts too, honey, maybe some continental hops. Head reveals some sulphur. Sweet, spicy flavour; dull malts, bit peppery. Malt completely dominates any possible hops; even suggesting corn. Light body, light gristslickness, low to medium carbonation. Average, even for German standards. Txs to Stef!
