Bottiglia.

Bottle. Orange blonde. Tropical and citrusfruit. Grass and tea in the aroma and flavor. Lemon, pineapple, passion fruit. Indeed, very juicy. Good one.

500ml bottle at home. Hazy amber with smallish white head. Aroma is sharp sour fruit combined with tropical fruit IPA nose. Flavour is very much a hoppy sour ale gone a bit wrong. The tropical fruit IPA does battle with the sour berry wild ale. Neither comes through the winner. Applaud the effort though.

Keg at the Bar Tender, Dundalk, 22/09/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is sharp and tangy citric zest, pissy green berries, toasted malts, lemon sherbets, grass. Taste comprisea tarte citric peel, hint of funk, grass, bitter orange, sharp passionfruit, lemon rind, soured citricana, lactose. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close juicy hop bitterness interspersed with an acidic underbelly. Decent sharp stuff ... a good refresher although a half is enough for me in one sitting.

Draught @ Kandinsky IPA event. Unclear very hazy pale orange color, small white head. Aroma is a bit floral combined with light fruit and hop. So far so good I thought. But flavor, jeezz, I didn't expect that at all. Flavor is sour / sour fruit. No, not my kind of IPA.

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Murky golden/amber body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of rhubarb and grapefruit zest. Flavour of bitter lemon and more grapefruit. Medium body with a frothy texture. Soft fizz. This is a decent sour IPA.

21st July 2018
Hazy orange - gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with decent fine minerally carbonation. Malts bring a moderate sweetness. Pineapple zip is quickly subsumed by tangy Passion Fruit. Some orange peel underneath. More tangy and slightly bitter passion fruit on the back end. Fruity linger. Dunno what the Irish lads and Joris have been served but this is good fruity IPA fayre in my book.
