Taster showing dark brown with sparse latte colored foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of baking spice - cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and light mint. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Moderately sweet with moderately intense notes of baking spice, caramel, mocha, and cinnamon. Lots of great flavors here.

12oz bottle from Norms, pours an oily, cola brown with a ring of grey head. Nose has cinnamon and sarsparilla, cola, BBQ sauce, vanilla. Flavor has chocolate and vanilla and cinnamon, rootbeer, cola, some black pepper. Full bodied, sweet and spicy finish. Wildly drinkable.

Tap. Pours opaque black, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is bourbon, marshmallow, maple, oak, vanilla, cocoa. Flavor is medium plus sweet, light bitter. Full body. Good stuff.

Draft pour at Novemberfest at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a very dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was light graham cracker, lots of roasted malts. There is plenty of bourbon notes, with graham cracker, marshmallow. Flavor was seriously like a s’more, just like the original. Maybe a little more smoke notes. Lots of graham cracker, roasted malts lots of milk chocolate finish, bourbon notes.

Keg sampler at Fire Works in Arlington. Pours jet black with a thin dirty tan head. Aroma is chocolate, soy, vanilla, coconut and bourbon. Taste is chocolate, coconut, vanilla, a little salted caramel just takes off the sweetness and gives a nice long biscuit and vanilla finish. Really smooth and easy drinking. Lovely!

Fudge, walnut, choc syrup nose. Cola brown, medium tan head, good lacing. Chocolate, charred oak, mulberry, espresso. Medium body, easy carbonation. Wonderful beer.

Draft taproom. Pours black with a tan head. Awesome aroma of sweet chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, marshmallow. Flavor is equally as lovely: vanilla, bourbon, caramel, chocolate, coconut, marshmallow. This is delicious. The bourbon flavor is amazing in this beer.
