Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: golden yellow color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: melon, floral, grapefruity hops then a light clean bready malt base
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together in a fine bittersweet semi-juicy way; finishes somewhat floral to melon-like
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, fairly smooth along the tongue, some carb hitting the tongue, low bitterness on the tongue
Overall: mostly a pretty nice New England styled IPA.

Juicy, though not clean burning. Good beer for sure.

Draught @ Mystic, Chelsea, MA. Crisp, grassy and earthy with some herbal hops, pine and citrus. Okay, pretty untypical hop profile. --- Beer merged from original tick of Voltage IPA on 30 Jan 2019 at 11:29 - Score: 7

Can from Jeff, thanks for the hookup Hazy lemon yellow with a decent sized bubbly white head that quickly recedes. Earthy grassy bready aroma and flavor with a bit of astringency. Decent beer,

Fresh can drunk 1/25/18.
Moderately-to-heavily hazy, blonde-golden with a large, white head that steadily recedes to cover.
Some juicy notes in the nose immediately give way to light pine and strong grapefruit. Thankfully it doesn't get horribly resinous, but it does lean pretty heavily on citrus, marmalade, tea and other not-very-juicy notes. Cracker and biscuit behind it with a touch of melon and bubble gum from the yeast. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's more of the mundane citrus, pine-tinged notes with moderate bitterness, lots of dry lemon, papaya and light pineapple. Biscuit and cracker-like malts with a hint of alcohol and resin on the end and not nearly as much juice character (almost none) as I'd hoped for. Engaging, moderate carbonation and good attenuation, but just overdone on the pine and citrus.

On tap at City Tap Room Boston. Cloudy pale gold colour lasting white head. Fruity tropical hop aroma . Sweetish flavour but good tropical hop with almost no dank. Shows you can do a good NEIPA without dank or onion. Just really drinkable. No sign of the abv unless you count the slight heat. Some bitterness. Good ipa. Fresh as hell.

At the source: pours slightly hazy with a white head. Aroma is fruity and tropical fruit. Taste is fruit, apricot and citrus. Some bitterness. Not quite harsh. Good. Lingering aftertaste.
