Keg at salthorse. Pours deep reddish brown, nose is liquorice, raisin, caramel, taste is sweet, sugary, liquorice.

Tap, at the brewery. Murky, deep chestnut brown. Huge, dense, lasting semi lacing, beige head. Nose has dried stone fruit. Some light roast malt. Hint of fruit and nut chocolate. Some brown sugar. Taste is sweet, sugary and vinous. Light, coffee bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. A little dry. Fine carbonation. Lingering vinous bitterness to finish. Really good.
