I was personally disappointed about this beer, the mainest problem is the aftetaste of burnt mango, sweet, in my case it was unpleasant. 19.03.2017

Clear brilliant amber colour, small frothy off-white head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma roasted malt, caramel, biscuit, berries, bit of honey. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, spicy notes, some alcohol. Syrupy bittersweet finish, honey and alcohol notes, lingering roastiness. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, bit boozy perhaps but apart from that good.

Bottle. Blonde. Floral, slightly herbal aroma and flavor with tea leaves. Hint of citrus. Malty, bready. Almost full bodied. Fairly well balanced.

Clear amber, offwhite head. Yeasty, malty aroma. Herbal hops. Sweet flavour, sugary with yeasty, herbal spice. Hints of anis seed, metal and glue. Really much too sweet, almost cloying, and I really don't like the flavour.

330ml bottle. Milky, orangey, dark golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish fruity, malty and yeasty aroma, hints of peach, apple purée, some apricot, biscuity malty basis, slightly grassy hoppy and minimally peppery spicy yeasty overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, biscuity malty, hints of almond, marzipan, a fruity touch of apricot, apricot liqueur, bitter hoppy counterweight, a touch of alcohol, Grand Marnier; slightly sticky palate, soft to flat carbonation. Slightly too sweet, quite monotonous.

Pours deep gold from the bottle. Aroma is white bread, apple vinegar, makeup remover. Taste is sweet with a rough note at the end — a mix of vinegar and liquor. Body is medium, carbonation is soft. Tolerable.

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet warm met iets van rijp fruit, pruimen, appel en bramen. Heel fijn bier om te drinken.

Bottle, 7.7 %. Pours clear golden with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and flowers, with fruity notes. Sweetish flavour of fruit, malt and Belgian yeast, with notes of caramel and bitter touches of hops. Bitter, slightly metallic aftertaste with sweetish, estery notes. Not bad but would be even better without the metallic touches.
