Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Aroma is brown malts, caramel toffee, yeast, nuts, brown sugar, notes of ripe/dried fruit and a hint of banana. Flavour is above medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Quite good for a Dubbel, smooth and delicate.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy brown colored brew with an medium sweet bitter taste, hints of caramel, dried fruit and some banana. Most Dutch Dubbels are an little bit rough than the Belgian ones, like this one.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 6 May 2022) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of raisins, figs, prunes and crisp-bread. Malty, fruity taste with raisins, figs, prunes, caramel, bread and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced dubbel. Nice one.

Clear brown with a thin off-white head. Caramel aroma with some red fruit, some raisins and some hops. Sweet taste with a low-bitter finish. Pretty standard dubbel and there's nothing wrong with that.

330ml bottle from Jumbo City, Den Haag. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light chocolate, caramel, mineral, earthy, nutty, woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light sweet and bitter, with a malt, slightly watery, mineral, nutty, light fruity, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Brown color. Caramel in the bready, floral aroma. Malty sweet, floral bretty flavor. Citrus and soft roast. Lots of caramel. Almost full bodied. Sticky.
