Can from BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, piney hop, citrus, some grapefruit. Moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Roasty finish, good basic BIPA.

(Draught at Mikkeller at Morebeer, Amsterdam, 25 Aug 2022) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted, hoppy nose with notes of coffee, liquorice, citrus, grapefruit and a touch of mint. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with coffee, cacao, liquorice, black bread, grapefruit, pine needles, mint and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty, hoppy and well made black IPA. Very nice.

Black with thin head. Lots of piney and floral hop notes. Very full flavoured. Nice mouthfeel too.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: alcohol, very intense, good roast, alcohol, caramel, vanilla, malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, alcohol, caramel, bitter, dry, coffee. Aftertaste: very bitter, oxidized, more roast, malty, good stuff.

Deep dark (almost bkack) colour and a firm light brown head with good retention and lacing. Hoppy and roasty aromas. Flavour is moderate bittersweet, roasty, coofee/chocolate-ish. Medium bodied. Moderate bitter finish.
