Imperial Stout Aged in Rum/Maple Syrup Barrels
OBSOLETE ABSOLUTE (13.99%) - A collaboration w/ @bottlelogicbrewing . This Imperial Stout is the same base beer as Name Droppin’ & was aged for 17 months in barrels from Chicago Maple that had previously been used for plantation rum. Brewer’s tasting notes: Brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, caramel, sticky sweet oak.

Black with a brown head - Dark malt and wood with some spicy aroma - Dark malt body with wood barrel that has some spicy flavours - Dark malt and wood barrel flavours goes into the finish - This was real good

Svart med lys brunt skum .Lukter søt lakris, melasse, noe lønnesirup og noe nøtter. Fyldig og søt. Smaker søt engelsk lakris, vanilje, trevirke og mild lønnesirup. Middels lang.

Tap @ MBCC 2022, blue session. Poured black in color. Roasted malty and bourbony aroma. Fairly sweet with maple and nutty chocolate mostly. ABV showing.
