12 ounce bottle, 7/29/23. Clear amber, thin head, poor retention. Aroma of vanilla, tangerine, oak, whiskey, butter, urinal cake. Taste is vanilla, tangerine, butter, whiskey, marzipan. Too sweet. If it weren't for BYO sections I'd never buy these. Pretty cloying and reminiscent of sunblock. Not good.

Bottle but I think this is the same beer as https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/lexington-brewing-kentucky-rickhouse-series-no-6-tangerine-cream/557114/ Oh well, I'll rate it anyway. Frothingslosh did, heheh. Pop the bottle and it smells like creamy perfumy artificial tangerine. Look is typical filtered pale beer. Taste is a little uncivilized and bitter, a typical lexington kentucky feel for the Alltech brews of the name. All they did was take the kentucky brew and add some artificial flavoring. There you have it! Yes, never really got into these altech kentucky 'ride the craft brew wave' craft get money thing, seems like they're just making profits off the name. Got a lot of friends who fell for these kentucky brews, heheheh.

This beer’s aroma and flavor are big on the oaky bourbon notes to start with. I tasted the tangerine more as it warmed. Sweet. Pretty good.

Honey color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly. Strong vanilla cream and faint orange. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Tangerine, vanilla, light bourbon, biscuit malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet tangerine, creamy vanilla, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Vanilla heavy.

12 oz. bottle from The Mansion. Pours a crystal clear orange-gold color with a white head and decent retention. Spotty lacing. Cream soda aroma. As expected, it tastes like a cream soda beer with vanilla and a nice subtle orange flavor in the finish. One of the smoothest and creamy cream ales I've ever had. Not grainy at all. Medium body and medium carbonation. No bitterness. The added tangerine notes are natural and not overbearing. Really well done and enjoyable.
Tastes like a creamsicle.
