(Cask at Southampton Arms, Kentish Town, London, 20 May 2010) Nut brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of dark fruit, slightly toasty malt and dusty hops. Malty, nutty taste with dark fruit, bready malt and dusty hops. Below medium body, balanced sweetness. Tasty and well balanced session ale.

Cask at the Southampton Arms on 18th May 2010. Brown with white head. Quite sweet with a fruity aroma and a touch of citrus hitting the roof of the mouth. Slightly watery texture and a sweet fruity aftertaste.

On gravity at the Reading Beer Festival, 01/05/09. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish mild with some red fruit, a hint of lichen and not much else. came off worst amongst the milds sampled at the festival, and not a beer to be revisited.
