Toujours plaisant de trouver LF en pression, et j'avoue ne pas trop suivre cette brasserie qui fait pourtant de belles choses avec ses lambics.
Couleur dorée sur un col blanc épais sans être trop crémeux.
Arôme sur un bouquet sauvageon qui de suite met en valeur l'apport de la rhubarbe.Le tout garde aussi un note de grains en retrait - le caractère lambic souvent très distinct chez d'autres grands est ici plus modéré.
Palais est plaisant au niveau de l'effet 'sour' avec un agréable caractère résiduel. La rhubarbe est très présente et ajoute son apport 'aigre/finement acidule' tout en ayant des touches subtiles terreuses et fraîches. Je la trouve plus aboutie qu'une Nath de Cantillon.

From tap at Constellation, Budapest, after a superb pork knuckle meal 19.02.25. Clear golden. Head is diminishing to nothing. Fine aroma and tart taste of brett, orange wine and oak, with hints of sour gooseberries and rhubarb. Good! Dry, acid and tart mouthfeel.

KYGG 231124. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is farmhouse, rhubarb, funk. Flavor is farmhouse, rhubarb, funk, lemon, flower, malt. Very nice beer.

Bottle, 75cl. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small white head. Just some bubbles actually. Fruity, funky aroma, lemon and flowers. Melon, rhubarb, gooseberry and some grass. It's full to medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with some lemon and wheat. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, tart and lemony, with a funky, fruity flavor. Rhubarb, gooseberry notes, pale malts, honeydew melon and a hint of grass. Lasting finish, funky and fruity. Delicious and refreshing. 241123

Bottle 750ml @ gunnfryd. Pours light hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is tart with notes of malt, barnyard, rhubarb and funk. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium sour with a long tart, funky, barnyard, citrus and rhubarb finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Brassigaume 2024. A hazy orange golden beer with a white head. Aroma of tart rhubarb, funk, wood. Taste of sour fresh rhubarb, red fruits, brett. Refreshing.

Bottle. Rather clear golden color with white head. Aroma is rhubarb, quite sour, good funk. Taste is the same, strong sourness but not too much. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Good!

(Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 19 Oct 2023) Pale amber colour, hazy, with foamy off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of apricots, citrus, barnyard and rhubarb. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, rhubarb, barnyard and a dry and tart finish. Medium body, dry. Fresh acidity and a generous fruit chracter. Well made and very nice.

Tap. Unclear gold, brief white head. Damp hay, gentle rhubarb. Gently sour, mild funk. Again, quite a light touch with the addition (not a criticism) - perhaps that's their approach. Not the deepest but elegant and deeply refreshing.
