440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 12.3%. Pitch black colour, small tan head. Aroma of smoke, roast malts, oak and whiskey. Rich and warming mouthfeel. Rich and strong flavour, medium sweet, notes of roast malts, coffee, smoke, liquorice, oak and bourbon whiskey.

Black with a brown head - Dark malt aroma with some wood and hints of smoke in the aroma - Dark malt body with roasted and smoked notes with some wood and dark fruity hints as well - The dark malt and smoke flavours goes into the finish - This was good

YG 090222. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is alcohol, dried fruit, caramel, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is alcohol, dried fruits, raisin, caramel, bread, bourbon, smoked, molasses, licorice, roasted malt. Powerful very nice beer.

Can. It's a black one, with a small tan head. Some lacing. The aroma has a really pleasant smoke hint, with a touch of alcohol and the booze. Roasted malts, licorice notes, burnt hints, some prune and raisin and a touch of toffee and molasses. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and slightly tannin-ish, sweet, but not too sweet. Roasted malts, some burnt, bonfire-ish notes, alcohol, booze hints, some wood and dark dried fruits in the flavor. Coffee and some dark chocolate. Lasting finish with lots of flavor. A delicious one indeed. Hope I can drink this one again several times. 220209

Truly excellent beer. By the bonfire or a pleasant evening sipper at home To many at the brewery is probably nothing I would recommend Pleasant intensity in the aroma Balanced sweetness/bitterness and a fine smooth carbonation level Easy to drink Toffee, chocolate, espresso and mild smoke in the flavor [Can @ source]

25. september, og Norge er offisielt ute av pandemi-tunellen. Jeg legger turen innom det yrende folkelivet i Øvre Holmegate (Fargegata), hvor Holmen Nanobryggeri ble startet, og her er det rene 17.mai-stemningen. Jeg har ikke vært på Cirkus på halvannet år, og her er det stinn brakke Jeg finner et ledig hjørne og blir elegant servert to øl fra Haandbryggeriets tap takeover, i inspirerende store glass: Gapahus er brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Aj, aj, dette er gode greier! Flytende sjokoladekake med kaffekoppen innbakt. Fin bitterhet og saliggjørende mersmak. So smooth and uplifting, just what the doctor would prescribe for celebrating Norway is officially out of the tunnell after 562 days of corona restrictions! 8-4-8-5-17
