IPA - New England / Hazy Regular
Score

ABV: 7.0% IBU: 30 Ticks: 20
A juicy DIPA brewed with toasted birch bark and hopped with Vista and Mosaic BBC.

Taste: Sweet overripe fruits and peach rings are balanced by a firm, birchy tannin. Freshly zested grapefruit and floral herbal character follow, with a gently sour tingle of freshly foraged spruce tips and black lime. Dank hops and a woody bitterness linger, balancing the sweet malt character.

Appearance: Hazy mandarin orange with a beige head.

Nose: Intense mango, guava, and pink grapefruit on the nose, followed by an alluring forest like aroma of fresh pears and petrichor. Fresh, juicy peach and hints of spice appear as the beer warms, with more pleasant earthiness leading you in.

Not something that you could expect from the ipa family, second beer of the night, this one was smooth and sweet, malty, syrupy, a bit woody, apricot, juniper, not that bitter for an ipa, boozy, not bad, original, 01.04.24, at Epalinges.

From tap at Põhjala Brewery & Tap Room, Tallinn. Mildly fruity aroma with citrus, orange, some herbalish/woody notes. A bit sweetish with a moderate bitterness. Medium body. Could be more refreshing.

Can bought at Hogs Back shop. Aroma has citrus, stone fruit. Hazy dark orange. Foamy white head. Medium bitter. Resinous. Booze. Tangy stone fruit juice. And then an almost burnt coconut flavour. Sugsry finish. Medium bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. Flat-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Interesting DNEIPA.

On tap @ Bar Cameral. Aroma of peach, guava and mango. Pours cloudy golden color with thin almost tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Tastes moderate sweet tropical fruity and malty, following is slightly citrusy, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is average bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Alco juice, but I miss birch…
