Cassonade Quad is one 3 offerings this year we describe as our 'inner sanctum' during the time of cold and fires outside with friends that you talk to from far away. We brew Quadrupel with at least 4 packs of sugar and other things like Belgian malted Barley. And Hops, and Atlanta Water, and a very special Belgian yeast. Notes of raisin, caramelized sugar, banana bread toast, kisses, Sucre Clair Foncé, with a nice and gentle natural carbonation.

Tap @MBCC 2022, Green Session. Clear dark amber, offwhite head. Malty, caramely aroma, fruity malt. Fruity, caramely malt flavour, a little dried fruit.

Tap at MBCC 2022. Pours amber with a beige cap. SWeet malty, some burnt caramel, toffee, dried fruits, tobacco, a little floral. Moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Raisin and florals. Dark copper pour without much head. Sweet tobacco, some coriander. Kind of comes off as a hybrid tripel/quad. Sweet flowery finish. Tap at Sovereign.

Draught, taster. @MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (Denmark). 14/05/2022 [#5.078 Global - #761 United States of America - #8 Halfway Crooks Beer] Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma: burnt caramel, toffee and dried fruits. Taste: sweet malts, raisins and toffee. Next one please!

MBCC. Light hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dried fruit. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. 140522

Tap. Rather clear reddish-amber color with white head. Aroma is esters, herbal bonbon, bready. Taste is bonbon, estery, not too sweet, some prunes and raisins. Oily mouthfeel, natural carbonation. Tasty but a bit simple.
