Caramel brown, very murky, huge off white head, some lacing
Aroma - Yeasty, fruity malts, red berry fruits, caramel, fruit esters, very fruity aroma
Taste - Caramel malts, soft wheat, fruity malts, earthy berry fruits, touch spicy, slight banana
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, quite oily. Finish as main flavour, quite smooth
Overall -Very fruity Dunkelweizen, but not exceptional, OK

50cl Bottle on Santorini. Murky dark amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, toast, hint of butterscotch, cloves. Flavour is medium-sweet, light roasted malts, toast, clove, ginger, caramel, wheat, light yeasty bitter finish. Light-bodied. Decent stuff.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice creamy head. Starts fine malty-yeasty, not too dry. Wonderful notes of caramel. Modest sweet. Fruity hints of raisins. Finish well balanced, soft-malty, quite drinkable. Great beer!

bottle from Degenhart Passau. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Chocolatey, caramel, slightly fruity. Smooth palate - a really well balanced and well crafted Dunkelweizen.

cloudy caramelly brown, large smooth white head. fruity yeasty and spicy aroma, not much bitterness, a little caramel and malts too. flavor is wheay, roasted malty, roasted plastic, yeasty.

Bottled. An unclear dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of over ripe bananas, wheat, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, caramel, and bananas, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle at WBF-Raleigh on 04/24/2010 as Arcobrau Hefeweisse Dunkel. Slightly hazy orange body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet banana and malty aroma. Toasty malt and banana flavor. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

Bottle: Distinctive dark-malty and wheaty nose with a certain fruitiness and traces of cacao; light to medium bodied, very smooth, moderate sweet-sourish and bitter flavour; vinous flavours and a tinge of chocolate in the sweet-sourish finish. A good one...

12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Triangle Plaza, Raleigh, NC. Lots of sediment in this one which leads to a murky brown color, looking pretty much like mud. Thin head with fair head retention and lacing. Light bread and spice aroma with caramel. Taste is caramel, bread, spice. Thin-medium bodied.
