500ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Clear amber body, slowly diminishing pearl white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Distant grain and earthy malts on the nose. Modest taste profile of caramel malts, bread and hints of dried fruits. Mid-sweet malty end. Medium bodied. Accepted, rather anonymous. (Hotel room, Stockholm 17.01.2018).

Festbier? My godnesss. Not much fest in this one. Quite dull and boring stuff.
Deep golden color with a fine white head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Malty and herbal/grassy flavor.

Bottle. Grainy, light caramel aroma. Amber, offwhite cream. Sweet malty base, Alfredo sauce, light apple. Spicy finish.

21-01-17 // 500ml bottle at home. Pours a deep golden, clear beer with a solid white head. Taste is sweet malty, some grains, bread, sweet caramel touches. Nothing special but ok.

Pours an clear orange color with small white head. Smell is sweet - but very, very weak - almost non-existent. Again, this was enough to set off my alarms. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a false alarm. This is pretty disappointing for a Christmas special. A watery lager - nothing more, nothing less. Not even the ABV is up to task. 5.5% is pretty weak for something that’s supposed to be a winter special - usually, winter specials are a bit higher on alcohol in order to keep us warm. No such luck here. Very weak undefined aroma. Thin body with medium carbonation. Empty and bland. Finish is slightly bitter. Overall - pretty much your everyday lager. Avoid.

Bottled 500ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Courtesy of and shared with Marko, thanks1 Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, malty nose. Sweet malty, bready, touch of fruits and caramel with mild hoppy finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle at Pivoteka. Clear old gold body, lovely with a medium sized lasting white head. Malty, sweet aroma, very light banana. Sweetish body too, vary light banana again, graininess, strange carbonation in a way, slightly heavy. No hops really. Peculiar body in general but a well executed beer.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, spicy, dry background. Also some wheaty notes. Finish a bit metallically. All in all an average festbier. Okay.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Muggy, strawy and grainy aroma, horse stable-stored straw. Taste is minimally sweet grainy, a touch of honey, plain bitter hoppy overtones.

The beer starts malty, slightly grainy with hints of sweetish malt. The mainpart is sweetish-grainy, a bit unround. The aftertaste is long, sweetish-grainy and slightly malty. --> 7/10/8/7
