Аромат просто бомбический. Есть много ноток от орехов прежде всего, но без сладости нуги, легкая ваниль, шоколад черный, совсем легкая сухость от зерен бобов, легкая жженка. Цвет черный, пенка тонкая кофейная. Вкус выверенный, снова орехи, уже больше ванили, шоколад. При глотке легкая жженка от солода, намеки на карамель, совсем легкая маслянистость, сладость на месте. Просто отличный стаут, что то между Русским имперцем и пастри стаутом с балансом.

15/6/2024. Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Shared at Malilla GP. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is very nutty, pecan, maple, chocolate, roasted malt. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness. Medium body, light creamy mouthfeel, low carbonation. Need to really like sweet nut to really like this.

Thanks to Graham for this tasting. Cette bière est violente. Complètement déséquilibrée ce stout présente des arômes de pécan qui saturent le palais en restant très longtemps en bouche. Une telle puissance est toutefois désagréable, et je ne vois pas comment une personne pourrait boire une bouteille entière d’une telle bière. Nous nous y sommes mis à 4 ! A un moment, il faut arrêter la course au toujours plus…Et ce surtout lorsqu’on n’utilise pas directement des noix de pecan et du sirop d’érable, mais des arômes de noix de pécan et de sirop d’érable. Le visuel est sur une belle robe noire avec quasiment aucune mousse ou effervescence. Déjà au nez, le pécan est omni présent. En arrière on décèle avant tout du café, avec un peu de choco. La date et le sirop d’érable ne s’exprime que peu. En bouche, c’est un lance flamme à la noix de pécan qui vous prend. C’est violent avec des arômes qui reste très longtemps en bouche. Les arômes de chocolat sont plus présents toutefois qu’au nez. La date et le sirop d’érable se font légèrement ressentir en toute fin de bouche. La corpulence est impressionnante mais c’est contre-productif. La complexité n’est pas mauvaise mais est mise en arrière-plan avec le pécan qui écrase tout. Un peu de finesse s’il vous plait. Tout ce qui est excessif est insignifiant.

200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Patches on the surface of a deep black body, dotted spots on the glass. Promising smell of nutty chocolate malts, rather sweet. Sweet flavours of syrup and molasses supported by toffee, nuts, and chocolate. Smooth and sweet ending with noticeable alcohol. Has got its moments of good beer drinking, but gets too sweet in the long run. (Tromsø, 15.05.2023).

Innflyttingsgaven til meg selv: Første kveld i ny leilighet! Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum som raskt blir film. Aroma av nøtter & sjokolade. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Nøttene videreføres i smaken. Behagelig - men litt uvariert. Greit koseøl.

330ml bottle. Pitch black with a small tan head, some sediment. Aroma has massive amounts of pecan, chocolate, maple. Taste is also heavy on the pecan, very nutty, biscuity, chocolate, maple, roast malts, sugary sweet, caramel, toffee, fudge. Full bodied, smooth.

Keg at the Nottingham Craft Beer Festival 2022. Deep off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted malty bitter and molasses then maple sweet. Full smooth body.
