Two Fish Red Fish is a sour and complex beer, aged in former sherry barrels, and featuring a big load of organic blackcurrants. Look for berry and pine notes up front, followed by spice and vanilla from the barrels and their resident microbes.

From tap at Café DeRat, Utrecht. Puckering sourness with berries, sherry barrel, blackberries. Tart and very sour. Medium body. Nicely fruity with some sherry notes, lovely.

Bottle. Color: Dark purplish red, pink head, Aroma: Blackcurrant, funky. Taste: Quite complex mix of fruity blackcurrant, some citrus and a little grape, wild yeast funk, leather hints, vanilla, wood, Spicy hints. Tannins, dry mouthfeel. Medium body, just under average carbonation. A little foamy mouthfeel. Once again a very nice Wild Ale from De Kromme Haring.
