Can to tulip.
Appearance: super dark brown close to black color with a finger's worth of tan foamy head which settled off at a decent pace and left some light concave lace
Aroma: rich sweet milk chocolate, peanuts - nuttty & salty; vanilla sweetness and a touch of coffee roastiness
Flavor: absolutely combines the prior noted aromas magnificently through each other in a sweet and roasty way with the nutty and salty character amplifying the taste and just a nick of alcohol but nothing that's burdensome; finishes roasty, sweet, nutty and salty with a speck of dryness
Texture: medium to full bodied; great as a sipper; good smoothness with a lil bit of stickiness but nothing to worry sbout; great carb level
Overall: a very nicely done pastry impy stout with vanilla & peanuts in it I would love to return to in the Winter.

Can from BierCellar, Portland, drunk 8/27/23. Dark. Tan head instantly to nothing. Nose is a healthy mix of roasted peanut, mellow vanilla, milk chocolate, fruity coffee and rich fudge. No booze. Dry, earthy, rich peanut really steals the show. Soft, silky, medium bodied not syrupy, moderately-to-heavily sweet with rich, mellow vanilla notes and lovely roasted peanut throughout. Fudge, chocolate vanilla. As with all Timber Ales, it's too sweet, though the acidity from vanilla and earthiness and roast from peanut here mitigates better than most of their beers.

Can 47,3 cl. Pours a thick, syrupy black with next to no head. Sweet nose of vanilla, maple syrup and sweet roast. Rich, sweet body with a low carbonation. All of the above also flavorwise with a warming alcohol finish. Borderly cloying - yet delicious - as most Pastry Stouts. 010223
