(Can, 0.473l, thanks tiong, at VastActiv, 20230105) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts and sweetness. Palate was full bodied and sticky sweet with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, ash, more sweetness, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A very sweet brew.

Can, 12%. Murky dark brown with tiny head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, peanut, caramel and vanilla. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, sweet, warming, vanilla, peanut and a little bitter.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a thick and viscous pitch black with a finger of brown head that dissipates. Big vanilla focused nose with dark chocolate and coffee aromas. Some toffee, fig and molasses as it warms. Smooth and chewy on the palate with loads of dark chocolate brownie alongside a touch of vanilla and coffee. Drying finish with good bitterness to balance out. No pastry here, this is an impy for the adults in the room.
