The Sun and Moon share the same origin, the same base beer treated differently. The Sun is dry-hopped with Northern Hemisphere favorites Idaho 7 and Strata.
The Sun begins with bright assorted citrus--notably blood orange leaning toward grapefruit--and lychee and papaya. The flavor carries pithy orange and light strawberry and ends with a delightfully nutty malt character.

Can pour from Andover Classic Wines. Cloudy, dark yellow with light sparkle, large head with excellent retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is strong grape, florals over citrus. Taste mirrors aroma. Smooth texture, average carbonation and dry finish as taste. Nice. Only slightly less good than The Moon.

16 oz can. Aroma and flavor are a copy. Melon and grapefruit upfront. The backend of the sip has soft florals and mild tropical fruit hint. Mouth feel is soft and supple with plenty of juicy fruit. Also displays a soft amount of tartness. This is wonderful!

Can thanks to Yu. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and citrus. Slick body, pine, citrus, melon, juicy, light bitterness, very nice.

Can in the ferry back to Woods Hole. Pours hazy gold with a frothy, white head. Medium sweet flavour, pretty juicy, had a little funky fresh hops vibe, low bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly sweet finish, sturdy pale malt sugars, citrusy hops, some mango, peach. Tasty.

Can shared at Farewell to Ferndale. Thanks Alex! Pours a hazy straw gold with a finger of fluffy white foam that lingers. Lots of fresh citrus, grapefruit, lemon and lychee on the nose. Palate is similar with nice carbonation. Some mineral with more tropical fruit notes. Balanced finish.
