Light to medium brown with a wispy head. The profile is full of ripe dark fruits, raisin, chocolate, and spicy black pepper notes. It’s a straight forward dubbel that skews a little spicier and lighter but all together quite tasty

Small cream-coloured head, stable, over Burgundy to brown beer with a purple sheen. Wood, dried-out chocolate, watercolour paint, putty, dry malts, not very sweet impression. Liquorice, dry to sweetish malts, billberries, caramel, wood. Medium bodied, slick, medium carbonation. Medium quality, too, too classical. Txs to Stef!

Donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en niet echt zoet maar verder vrij zwak met iets van chocolade, noten en wat alcohol. Ik heb wel eens beter gehad.

Clear brown colour with lasting head. Aroma has some caramel. Starts bittersweet with malt and caramel. Surprisingly bitter finish, similar bitterness as a Pils.

0.33 l bottle from 'Trappist Tribute', best before October 2024. A bit hazy, ruby with a large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit yeasty aroma of caramel, raisins, some marzipan and hints of overripe banana. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, raisins, some chocolate, light overripe banana and traces of marzipan, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little dry finish with a touch of iron. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Far from great, not even flawless, miles away from the 'real' trappist beers' quality.
