From 0,75l bottle at Ammutson. Amber clear color, small white head. smells funky, sherry, light curry, some oak. Very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes curry, sherry. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of curry, sherry and earthy notes. Good stuff, but rather heavy, lacks some funk and lightness, probably good with a couple more years on it

Bottle pour at MBCC 2023, pours a hazy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out washed out maple syrup and a touch of funk. Flavour is weird, with washed out maple syrup, acidity, and stone fruits. A bit muddled and lacking in funk depth. It's alright but pretty uncoordinated.

During MBCC 2023 Saturday morning session with Matt, Brian, Ryan, Phill, Erik, and superhelpful and funny Rachel, hehe. Funky aroma, a bit too much minerals and bitterness in the taste. Ok.

Head gone in seconds over hazy ochre beer. Peach, lemon, subtle farmyard odours. Caramel malts, peach flavour, wheat, and an aromatic sweetness, due to the barrel. Light body, low carbonation. Delicate. Sam calls it 'young', in that case, I'm sure it would age very well.
