Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is malt, heavy on the spices and herbs including ginger, peppery Saison yeast, and citrus. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Well-brewed, heavily spiced, bit overwhelming initially, but I settled into it.

Bottle. Deep golden color. Malt, caramel and ginger in the aroma/ Malty sweetish, spicy caramelly flavor with lemongrass and ginger. Spicy floral finish.

0.33 l bottle from ’Drankenspeciaalzaak van Haastregt/Lamers’, bottled in February 2017. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a massive, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy, floral, quite spicy and a bit soapy aroma of lemon peel, lots of ginger, lemongrass, bergamot and light hay. Sweetish, spicy, fruity-grassy, floral and slightly soapy taste of honey, ginger, lemongrass, orange peel, bergamot and hay, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather dry-grassy, spicy, yeasty and slightly soapy finish. Almost medium-bodied, very effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Maybe a bit too much of the spices, but still quite enjoyable. Couldn’t drink much more than a bottle though.

Sampled @ NL Speciaalbier Festival Den Bosch 2017. Hazy orange color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, a lot of herbs or spices which I don’t like, sweetish. Hmm definitely not my kind of beer.
