Tap at vo'Gunders, Bay. Eisenstein. Clear golden body, lively carbonation, creamy, thick off-white head. Herbal hoppy notes and grainy malty touches in the aroma, liiightly metallic. Sweetish, grainy maltiness in taste, herbal hoppiness, mildly minerally-tart. Very flavorful for a Helles of the region, for better or worse, but pretty on point in other ways.

Bottle picked up from Adam Brau, Bodenmais and consumed today/same day, Saturday 24th December 2022, listening to Keg - Girders about to cook a Hungarian Goulash. Soft mouthfeel and reasonably decent Helles, a little more bitterness and bite than some, malty but not overly so, light fruityness.

Waidler Hell, vom Faß beim Adam-Bräu in Bodenmais. (15.9.2020.)

(swing top bottle) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white frothy head. Slightly yeasty caramel-malty aroma with nutty and fruity (apricots, citrus) accents and herbal and slightly flowery hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth and well-matured carbonation. Cara-malty and subtle fruity taste with a nutty touch; medium-dry, mildly sweet malty and delicately hop bitter finish. Balanced and quaffable Ur-Helles. 27.X.10

Bügelverschlußflasche: Hazy, amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy off-white head; solid sweet toasty-caramelly nose with a light, but distinctive hoppy background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, soft and nearly medium bodied; short caramelly-hoppy finish. Unusual, but good, old fashioned Helles.....
