Bottle, courtesy of the FNY guys, thanks! Mahagony pour with an off-white head. Nose is caramel, nuts, light dried fruits, a cocoa hint. Taste is vague chocolate, caramel, dried fruits, bready notes, some cocoa again. Slightly on the sweeter side. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation. Some baltic porters nowadays are closer to a stout but this one has very pronounced lager characteristics, especially body-wise, so plus points for that!
Quite sweet rum like, raisins, ABV coming out, high carbonation, moderate bitterness.

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of roasted malt, dust, chocolate and coffee. Pours almost black color with thin soapy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet roasted malt, nuts and coffee, following is woody, grassy and earthy, mouthfeel is warm and mild spicy, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Phantom of the opera…

0.5 l bottle from KSET, Zagreb. Shared with K&K Igor. Dark brown, large beige head. Roasty, tart fruity touch, vanilla, cardboard. Quite roasty, chocolate, cocoa flavour. Very full and heavy. Roasty and bitter. Soft to moderate carbonation, strong. This one has character.

Bottle, 0.5l. Black pour, one finger soapy brown head, medium retention. Broken lacing on the glass. Nose is roasted malt, coal, dried fruits, caramel and chocolate. Quite nice. Medium body, medium carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, soft and creamy, goes down nicely. Roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and cacao nibs. Dried fruits, raisins, toasted caramel, toffee, nuts. Wood, mild ash. Some more fruity notes in the background. Nicely balanced. Medium lasting finish, mild lingering bitterness. Good one.

Bottle, Goblet, thx Vran! Very dark brown body, off-white head. Dark malt-driven, pungent aroma, light chocolate and vanilla notes. Sweet dark malt-dominant taste, light vanilla, creamy, some raisins, wine-like touches. Very nice rendition of the style.
