12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Triangle Plaza, Raleigh, NC. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a thin creamy head. Decent head retention and lacing. The aroma is weak and grainy with some fruitiness. Taste is grainy with a bit of grass, caramel and sugar. Light fruity notes in the finish. Medium bodied with slight stickiness. Nevertheless fairly refreshing. Decent beer.

Bottle from the Dodgi’ Deli, Cowley Road, 29-11-07 Poured mid gold with white bubbly head, very good clarity. Aroma very corny and a bit sweet also. Tasted corny bit sweet and powdery sort of like a sherbert feel but not sherbert as it wasn’t tangy. Soft mouthfeel, interesting. Bottle picked up from Globus, Plattling and consumed at home Thursday 24th November 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq and Round Table on 6Music, we're having Chicken Chowder tonight. Pours gold, looks fab', large white head. This is a nice beer and better than I rated back in 2007, nice moutheel, good maltiness. It's a great beer.

Hopfig-getreidiger Nachgeschmack. Test vom 17.11.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,9,10,9,9,9 - 9,35

Bottle: Straw golden coloured, mid-sized lacing, very creamy head, visible carbonation; sweet-malty nose with a faint aromatic hoppiness; sweetish flavour, soft Mf, light to medium bodied; sweetish finish with a citrousy, almost vinous and hoppy touch. An unusual, because tasty and aromatic, Helles..........

(bottle) Clear yellow colour with a small frothy white head. Light sweet malty aroma with notes of citrus fruits and a touch of herbal hops. Bittersweet flavour, medium to light body, lively carbonation. Dry and almost vinous-fruity taste, slightly malty with a light bitterhoppy and slightly tart finish. Really not bad.
