330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with minimally late awakening, small, creamy, fading, off-white to beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and slightly vinous, fruity aroma, notes of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, cocoa, hints of cherry, Port, sherry, a touch of plum and marsala. Taste is sweet, chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty and vinous fruity, minimally dry woody, notes of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, cocoa, hints of Port, cherry, blue grapes, marsala, some plum, sherry.
Slightly viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Sweet but very tasty and dangerously drinkable - pretty decent.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted, some toasted and mild smoked tones with some nutty tones to it. Flavour is nutty, some roasted malts with quite strong Port Wine sweetness as well as some slight raisins and plum tones as well. Smooth.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek' (online), best before September 2024. Black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and slightly vinous-fruity aroma of dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut, coffee, raisins and port. Very sweet, malty, quite roasty and gently vinous-fruity taste of chocolate, coffee, licorice, roasted hazelnut, raisins and port, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Delicious brew, very pleasant even if not overly complex. Great match.

I like this brewery because they do interesting things, but they don't usually seem to spend much time perfecting their beers or making sure they're balanced. This really seems like they took a random porter and threw a bunch of supermarket Port wine in
