23.10.2013, 0,65l bottle sampled @ BBGTC tasting:
Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet fruity, light malts, sugar, grain, dried fruits, butterscotch, almond milk, grass, old leafs. Taste is slightly sweet, light malts, harsh hay, sugar, grain, weeds, almonds, butterscotch. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mouthfeel. Nice for being a not too fresh bottle.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 07/20/2012. Pours a cloudy iced tea color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of biscuit malt, hops and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruit, piney hops and a little spice. The finish is malty with an earthy and fruity aftertaste. Good ESB all around.

Hazy deep amber beer. Frothy white head. Slightly soft palate. Lovely fresh hops. Sweet pineapple, marmalade orange - slightly bitter, pine. All on a decent malt base. A very English name and if all English bitters tasted like this you would never get me out of the pub!

Refrigerated bomber from csteele2144 poured into a shaker. Pours clear copper with finger and a half off-white fluffy head. Little lacing, medium body, low carbonation, and caramel malt and hop aroma. Taste is caramel malt, spicy grapefruit, hint of pine, and nice bitter finish. Leans toward an IPA, I would love to try this back to back with Fullers ESB. Three Floyds has produced another great beer.

22oz bottle I picked up at DLD 2012. Porued a relatively clear copper-brown color with a foamy medium-to-large sized white head. Aroma was toasted malts, almost like fresh grains on brew day - really enjoyed that moment I opened the beer. The flavor is a bit middle of the road - but to be expected - sweet toasted malts, bitterness.

Bottle, 22oz. It’s an unclear, golden-orange beer topped by a finger-thick off-white head. Lots of pineapple, pine cones and citrus on the nose, with some malty meatyness. The flavor is hop dominated, in a nice way, and not too bitter, but in my opinion, it’s too sweet. A bit too heavy on the carbonation too I think, full body. Fruity and lightly bitter finish with some warmth. A quite nice one, although too sweet. 110826
