Brewed to celebrate our 10th anniversary this pale DIPA is designed to be the big brother of our popular pale ale. Bigger and bolder in every way the beer's smooth malt backbone leads into an intense hop character of citrus, lemongrass and kaffir lime ending with a bright refreshing bitterness.

20th March 2023. Monthly Beer Share, Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury; five guys who love beer and talk bollox while drinking. 33cl can; BB 13th April 2023, brought by me, via Beer52. Light haze to the golden pour, white head. Peachy, fruity and tropical notes, liked it.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, March 23. Thanks Jeremy for this. Pours a misty gold orange, proud white head that sticks around. Strong tropical mango whiff accompanying the initial sip which delivers resinous tropical notes, light and easy-drinking. Not bad.

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 26 Aug 2022. Gold Edition 8.3%) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with peaches, bread, citrus and grass. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, peaches, mandarin, soft malt and a balanced herbal/citric bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh, rich and quite hoppy. Very nice. (There are two versions: Silver Edition at 7.5% and Gold Edition at 8.3%, Unclear if they should be separate entries or one, but I'll keep mine here for now.)

Blik gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een troebel geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van hop en hars. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht zoet en hoppig.

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours a hazy golden amber with minimal offwhite head. Aroma has oranges, marmalade and a hint of ginger. In the mouth the initial sensation is pine, herbs and alcoholic strength. Bitter oranges follow quickly along with traditional hops and traces of grapefruit. Finish has some citrus but the alcohol softens this. Very nice and dangerously drinkable – more of a DIPA than a pale ale though.
