Cask at Dog, Burton on Trent. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small foamy cream head and good lacing. There’s a zesty aroma with citrus, kiwi and hints of gooseberry. In the mouth it is quite bitter with a creamy texture. Flavour has some floral hops, grains and caramel with hints of citrus and spice coming through later. Finish is dry and somewhat sticky. This is reasonable.

Cask @ Brown Cow, Keighley. Hazy blonde with a creamy head. It’s fairly smooth, with a very clean and a healthy tasting texture. Is always hoppy.

Cask-conditioned at the Swan, York 21/6/2019. Deep gold in colour, with a thin off-white head. Light citrus fruits, biscuity malts leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.
