Kommerzienrat August Röhm war der Begründer des modernen BÜRGERBRÄU, als er die Brauerei im Jahre 1901 übernahm. Ihm zu Ehren trägt dieses Bier seinen Namen. „Gustl“ – ein helles, frisches Vollbier, gebraut nach den Originalrezepten von damals. Ideal für den perfekten Feierabend.

Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is noble hops, some wet grass. Taste is bonbon sweetness and the normal lager bitterness. Not so smooth. Slightly spicy, slightly aggressive carbonation. Meh.

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. Golden with a white head. On the sweet side with grass, bread and some metal. Drinkable but not the best Helles out there.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hay, softly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Decent beer.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, grass, straw, fruits and hops. Sweet, fresh and semi bitter finish. Great!

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Unser Bürgerbräu Gustl ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, hay, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, grain, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151122]

Bottle at home. #18 of my advendkalender. Golden beer with a small head, aroma is malty, grain. Taste is malts, grain, bittersweet, meh average.

Many thanks for this bier to kevnic2008. Piwo o jasnej slomkowej barwie, niewielkiej piance i niklym aromatem. Ladna etykieta ale smak zwyczajny, lekko rozwodniony, wyczuwalne lekkie nuty slodowe. Goryczki niewiele bylo. Pijalne piwo lekkie na upalne dni
