33cl bottle from Provenance Wines. Appearance -opaque black with a generous fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate with a little bit of creaminess in the background. Taste - more dark chocolate but with a dry maltiness following it in. Palate - medium bodied but then slightly too astringent for my taste. Overall - it looked and smelt good but then fell away.

Keg and bottle. Black brown body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of metal, vanilla, cocoa powder and prune. Flavour of milk chocolate and underripe plum. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. An easy drinking Porter.

Bottle 330ml.Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, grain, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20120421]
